Mike Moore

Mike co-founded American Energy and now serves as president and chief executive officer. He has a wealth of experience with marketing energy services, and has implemented energy solutions for a wide range of industrial and commercial clients over the years.

Mike sets the company's direction through executive leadership, strategy development and business planning activities. He takes a “hands on” approach, making certain to understand each client's needs, match our capabilities with those needs and provide executive guidance during the implementation of client solutions.

Prior to co-founding American Energy, Mike gained experience with a number of energy-related companies. He was the president and CFO for Private Energy Partners, a developer of independently owned and operated mid-sized “inside-the-fence” cogeneration projects. Mike was responsible for all project development activities from contract negotiations to project-based debt and equity packaging strategies.

Before entering the energy industry, Mike spent several years in the commercial insurance and bond business, as well as commercial banking.
